The resort is extremely fortunate to have such a magnificent coastline, providing not only breathtaking views but some stunning beaches and crystal clear blue and green waters. Playa l'Ampolla (below) is the largest and busiest beach, very close to the town centre, it has restaurants, showers, volley ball nets & other games, watch tower and nearby parking.

Playa del Portet (right, top) is also popular, especially with the locals. Sheltered by the Cap d'Or headland, it's a tranquil and idyllic setting, with facilities such as restaurants, foot showers and nearby parking. It really is ideal for the whole day.

Just south of l'Ampolla lies the smaller, quieter beach of Platgetes (right). A more peaceful environment with convenient parking, it's also well served by Las Rocas restaurant - possibly the best paella in Moraira!
