Across the Moraira/Teulada region there are many fiestas that take place during the year. They're magnificient spectacles, full of colourful costumes, live music, processions, food and wine sampling, and the most impressive fireworks you're ever likely to see.The two most important fiestas are the 'San Vincent Ferrer' and the 'Moors and the Christians'.

The San Vincent Ferrer is a 10 day celebration of the patron saint of Teulada, and begins 7 days after Easter Monday. The streets of Teulada are alive with celebrations, music and dancing, in which everybody is encouraged to participate. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, truly demonstrating the Spanish....

The 'Moors and the Christians' is held on the second weekend in June when the resort of Moraira takes on a carnival like atmosphere. There numerous parades and processions, giant paellas, live music and a mock battle between the Moors and the Christians. There's also bull running for those 'brave' enough, a horseshoe shaped arena is erected near to the harbour which allows hundreds of spectators with more sense to watch the action from safe vantage point. The festival is concluded with a spectactular firework display.
